My Story

Duncan and I have decided to set ourselves thechallenge this year to raise as much money as possible for the charity Mind. In aid of this, we are going to be climbing the three national peaks within 24 hours.

Starting at Ben Nevis 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Climbing Scafell pike through the night 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

And the finale, Snowdonia. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I will also be running:

Amsterdam Marathon 20th October

Crazy I know.

Most people have experienced mental health issues. I myself have my own story of an eating disorder, depression, PTSD and sadly three very serious suicide attempts. But exercise has played a big part in my toolkit for mental health management, every day walking my beautiful cockapoo Barkley So I am walking and running and hiking in various events this year for MIND.

This challenge is my biggest to date but nothing compares to the daily struggle many of us face with our mental health.

So please sponsor us / donate what you can

Join us in the fight for mental health. We won’t stop until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect. Mind are here to fight mental health. For support, for respect, for everyone, offering help whenever you might need it through our information, advice and local services.
